Just Thought
There is 200k application without 140 approval, this is including july filers.
there is lot of chnace for those who got their I-140 approved, even their PD '2006.
you can see people getting approved PD'2005 EB2 cases, even then VB says now 2004'apr for EB2.They are not processing based on PD now and in future also i gues.Since we have already filed.PD will restrict only to File I-485 in future.

I-140 is approved. I-485 was filed in July 2007. I have an opportunity to move to another company for a similar job profile. But the new company wants me to work as a contractor (hourly) on W2.
Is that a problem when filing AC-21?
Please advise.

I understand this is supposed to be a humorous note but I found it offensive. All countries in Africa are sovereign and they officially cannot be bought.
I am not aware of any island in Africa that could be up for sale.

If so, why give a shabby treatment to EB3-I, atleast in dreams/illusions let it move forward....
Dates for Eb2 india will touch early 2005. And dates will not move back from that point for rest of year. Of course it will move forward again in Aug 2009 bulletin.
No hopes for Eb3 india .. It will move only for days or months ( 2-3 ) .
Eb2 china will see either end of 2005 or early 2006.

i am not sure why you think kavya wont excel in her life - she already has a great headstart with close to 40grand in winnings! i also dont know why you think she will end up working for a non-ivy league educated manager - & even then why its a bad thing to win a spelling bee..too many gaps or leaps in thoughts/logic?!
If you come across and experience families who make their kids to go through the labor (hell) then and then only you would understand what he is trying to say. The other way of experiencing is to watch the pattern and construct of these spelling bees carefully and apply your own thinking process. Once you do this you would almost agree what logiclife was trying to throw to us.Spelling Bee competition, though make a child well aware about the roots of the words (latin, Greek roots) and provide enough exposure to the kid to understand the English language in its essence, it does not teach a kid how to think, how to become creative and innovative.
Of course nobody can generalize that particular winninng kid will/may/won't/may not do good in life but more or less these are not the competitions through which parents with reasoning or thinking ability would let their children go. Yes there are some advantages but if you try to enlist then list of disadvantages would become lengthier..

IT and BPO outsourcing is also leading to Americanization of Indian youth and Indian youth are spending their high salaries on American products. In no time you will see American fast food chains, groceries, and many American MNCs cashing on a Americanized Indian crowd and neutralize ( and will eventually exceed the investments they make).
This is the beginning of Americanization. Most of you will not understand what I say because you are here in US for a long time and being first generation immigrants (on a limbo) keep up with your tradition. Americanization is like a slow bleed. IT and BPO is investment. Returns will come in form of MNCs and businesses and finally benefit American economy.
Just go back to India and look into the ITand BPO companies and lifestyles of people there. it will be 5 times higher than what we follow here as the Americanization is already induced.
Bottomline, do not underestimate America. They know what they do.

I hope it does some good to you and makes your PD current/closer so that you dont eat/sleep/drink VB. C mon man... There are other things you can do. Dont get offended by what I am saying. If your PD is closer, I can understand your excitement. But a lot of people are just killing time in forums by working their ass off on predictions and call it comic relief. I hope IV core members stop encouraging this kind of behavior.

I have watched it a couple of time, though not a regular. No chance of getting there unless you are celeb fresh out of rehab and/or facing midlife crisis, divorce etc., or a US political bigwig.
We are none of the above.
Looks like we need to catch hold �Larry King�. If we can project our Green Card issue through 'Larry King', then it would easily catch US National attention.
Can some one throw ideas on this please?.

Actually very true. I for one have held off on buying a gun (though my wife highly disapproves of guns) simply because I dont have a GC and dont want any hassles. Besides I live in Chicago which has a ban on guns. Ironic that the maximum killings and drive by shootings happen maybe 30-40 blocks from where I live but the city doesnt allow legal law-abiding residents to own guns.
It isn't an outright ban. Chicago doesn't allow concealed carry, and requires guns to be registered, but you can own guns. Yes, the process for legally owning a gun in Chicago I understand is very tedious (sad, I know), but not impossible. Much like NYC.

Adjustment in Dollar exchange is good for both US and Indian economy, if $ hits Rs 38, this will certainly makes outsourcing even more expensive, Indian companies which are currently overrated will have much needed adjustment and the ripple effect of which can be seen in local Indian market such as realestate etc. In a long run this is good,
for those who are still counting on saving a pot of money and retiring in India time to wake up and see the reality

Made my second contribution last week.
Some of my utility bills and credit card companies did mistakes and overcharged me so all that credit coming back to me is on its way to IV !
Please $100 is not a lot folks, we definitely are not on minimum wage - look at the illegal immigrant forums, they are on minimum wages and they seem to be pitching more !
We can do this ! I just think about the core team in DC spending time and money for everyone so the least we can do is open our wallet, please, please, please !!

Hi,
I am writing this on behalf of a friend whom I helped him in e-filing his EAD& AP Renewal.
I too had the same situation. Before it gave this message, it gave a warning, Middle Name is not entered. Since it was a warning, I ignored it and went to the next screen, but there it gave the same message as you got 'are still suggested fields not completed on the following forms'.
I veryfied each and every field and tried 3/4 times, but every time the same message, out of frustration, I just some middle initial and submitted, then it worked.
But actually there is no middle name in my name. But the form got submitted with the confirmation.
I called the USCIS and told them about the same problem, they asked to submit a letter asking for correction of the name along with supporting documents. SO I have submitted the same.
Actually I have applied both EAD and AP e-file simultaneously. Both are Renewals.
I have received the receipt for EAD, but not for AP. Also recieved the FP notice for EAD.
I called USCIS again, said about not received the AP receipt notice. They said, they have mailed it. but I said about the middle name problem and said not received yet. They said since I submitted a letter for correcting Name, that will take care of it. For not receving the Receipt notice for AP, they said, they will mail a new one.
Exactly after one month(Whichi is yesterday), I have received the replacement Receipt Notice of AP, but suprisingly the receipt number on this is mentioned the actual Receipt number of the EAD, but clearlt mentioned this application is of Case Type I-131. So I called USCIS again and said about the wrong receipt number, they gave me a confirmation number on the case and said, wait for 45 days and call then if I don;t receive any update on this.
I am trying to efile an AP application right now. It always says following lines at the end of 131 form step.
Note:There are still suggested fields not completed on the following forms:
I really do not know as to why its doing so. I have checked several times that I have not left any field blank that is required. Did somebosy also see the same issue ?
